Performed by the fictional AI singer Akemi, the song captures the emotions of adulthood that knows the body remembers what the mind tries to release, and chooses to stand still rather than step into something it cannot undo.
Inspired by the late 1970s to early 1980s Japanese new music and city pop, the track reimagines that era atmospheric intimacy through images of dance floors, scattered light, silence between two people, and the weight of an untaken hand.
