unpaid overtime (feat. Jin)
namakosan
I wrote a song about the futility and unreasonableness of unpaid overtime, as well as that mysterious, uniquely Japanese sense of cooperation that makes it so hard to say no.
Artist Profile
namakosan
A singer-songwriter from Shiga Prefecture, Japan. A former band guitarist, he loves melodic power metal, but metal music was generally unpopular in Japan, so he started composing ballads and J-pop songs. For some reason, they were well-received. He then went on to win a special prize at the JSAC International Music Competition for his song, "Grandpa, the Greatest Songwriter." This tragic singer-songwriter composes music every day, sealing his metal spirit deep within. He also works as a Vocaloid producer and writes songs for certain artists. He generally doesn't turn down requests to compose music, but it seems like he'll dry up if he doesn't occasionally replenish his power metal sound.
