This album's producer is David T.Walker who are known for the greatest guitarists around the world. Japanese AOR fans including music people were surprised that the singer was unknown new Japanese artist, You Yamashita. And the sheer number of musicians who have participated in this album was enough to make a lot of gorgeous albums. It was mystery to Japanese music fans why great musicians from LA contributed so much in this album of an unknown rookie. "Gloomy" was on sale in December. Although December was a busy time for various musicians to release their albums, the album "Gloomy" had long ranked among the top 10 most popular albums at a major record store in Tokyo, beating out other famous artists. This fabulous album, "Gloomy" see the light of day after last 30 years and that is a great pleasure not only for AOR fans, but also as music fans.
