2024年3月15日SEEK US NEEDがキャリア初となる
1st.ALBUM「POSTSTANDARD」をリリースする。
本作はアレンジャー、Feat.共に様々な協力を経て、新たなサウンドを貪欲に追い求め今までの彼らとは一味も二味も違ったアルバムに仕上がっている。
今回のアルバムの象徴曲となる「POSTSTANDARD」では正に新たなサウンドに挑戦した形であり、今までの常識は果たして疑うに値しない物なのか。今まで当然のように通り過ぎていた事実に再度答えを見つけ出す
New soundをKanato (from WHISPER OUT LOUD)の
アレンジを加え彼らなりに表現した。
そしてSEEK US NEED史上最もヘビーと言える「THE DIRTY HERO」において彼らの持ち味である楽曲の表現幅の広さをスクリーマーであるNaShunとFeat.することにより示し、アレンジャーに寛-hero-(Another Story)を起用することにより攻撃的且つどこか儚いサウンドに仕上がった。
前作に続き人間の頂点的思考について語る「humanism」
vinny (from Falling Asleep)によるFeat.曲「Endless Dream」は
目覚めれば終わってしまう夢の世界に永劫存在していたい、先の見えぬ現実から逃れてしまいたいという気持ちをvinny(from Falling Asleep)のどこか儚げで影のある声と共に表現している。
SATOJI/Nyse.S.Wの手がけるアレンジにより
メタルコア、ハードコア、パンク的要素を強く含み疾走感がありつつ
27clubに対するメッセージ性を強く持つ「TWENTY EIGHT」
過去について振り返り、自分の弱さと立ち向かい今に歩き続ける
「Old self」
彼らの伝えたいメッセージを全面的に押し出しロックサウンドに落とし込んだ「WE ARE GOING DOWN」
ロックは忘れぬままどこか儚げにその人によって異なる大事な人を思う
「Silent Letter」
そして最後には彼らが当時通っていた専門学校在学中に作った楽曲をアレンジし、そこの同級生であり当時から交流のあったRiku Yanagisawaと共に歌う「Long way」今までの前途多難でありつつも充実した、それでいて何かを求め踠き続けた彼らなりの自画像を描くような楽曲である。
