  • Pablo Haiku

    A three-piece band consisting of Hiyu Mori (center), Fuka Nagata (right), and Arata Adachi (left). They formed while attending Tokyo University of the Arts and debuted in 2021 with their first single ,park. Their songs highlight real-life urban living and resonate with contemporary UK and US pop music, updating the framework of the traditional band sound. Their music has been featured not only in Japan but also by overseas media in countries such as France and South Korea, steadily building their career as an Asian band. In the FRIENDSHIP audition, co-hosted with Music Natalie and featuring regular curators along with guest producer and drummer mabanua, they received the highest number of votes in the song selection process. Their self-organized live show Part of Me Release Party, held in May 2024 at FS in Shibuya, Tokyo, was sold out. The single ,vertigo, released in August, was selected for J-WAVE Power Play and ranked number five for two consecutive weeks on the TOKIO HOT 100 chart. In September, they performed at the TOKYO CALLING 2024 × INSPIRED BY TOKYOCOLLABO STAGE. In November, they appeared at Inspire Tokyo 2024 winter. In January 2025, they provided the theme song for the JR SKISKI 2024-2025 campaign, writing a new single titled youre my. The song was selected as a Power Play in February on both Love FM and J-WAVE, reaching number four on the TOKIO HOT 100 and number eighteen on Billboard Japan Heatseekers Songs as of February 23. They have also received attention from media and music critics, being selected for the Japan edition of Rolling Stones Future25 as part of the Future of Music feature. At MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025 KYOTO, their songs vertigo and youre my were both nominated for the Best Domestic Alternative Song Award. They are currently working completely independently in both management and label operations, releasing their music through distribution deals with AWAL in the United Kingdom and FRIENDSHIP in Japan.
