In a whirlwind of light and magnetism

A thread of nature has been cast forth

Time interwoven, never to return

Approaches the beginning of eternity

You and I, motionless, face to face

Eternity, we cannot promise it

Just living this moment, with all our strength

Is all we do, alas

All human beings are on a journey

Believing that we will understand each other

Hope, this wish, this dream still distant

Remains out of reach, an unfinished dream

Yet we keep moving forward, step by step

Guided by the light in which we believe

The steel bow, stretched to its limit

Shoots an arrow of light and shadow

We seem close, yet far apart

The arrows have torn them both asunder

The hash value that bound us fades away

Impossible to become one being again

Henceforth, two isotopes, neither too near nor too far

We move side by side, in this fragile balance

The wish that humanity will one day fulfill

We, today, cannot comprehend it

But by continuing to live, to move forward thus

Will we one day reach it, perhaps?
