    ALTAR OF IMAGINATION is a visual kei band formed in 2017 in Nagoya, known for their unique musical style that blends screamo with gothic rock. Their music is characterized by lyrics that explore themes of inner conflict, despair, love, and the pain of loss, as well as a sound that fuses the beauty of visual kei with the intensity of screamo. The band sadly disbanded in 2020. During their active years, they did not engage in digital promotion, and their music spread solely through word of mouth and live performances. The only existing recordings are physical media sold at their live shows, making them a legendary presence in the underground music scene of Nagoya. Now, these rare recordings have been digitally remastered and are ready to return to the world.
