"Hotaru Umareru"

fireflies are born
from withered grass.

This is that song.


In Japanese tradition
Butsumetsu is not the worst day.

It is the day
when everything returns to zero.

When the old self is released.
When space is created
for new light to enter.

A deep breath
taken by the universe itself.



The energy of Otsu-U
is like slender grass in the wind.

It does not break
because it bends.

It does not fall
because it flows.

When the path ahead is blocked
the grass does not force its way through.

It curves.
It finds another way.
And it keeps growing.



The water of Isshaku Water Star
receives everything
reflects everything
and gently
carries everything forward.

Like a still forest pond at night
showing you
not what you wish to see
but what is truly there.


This song was written for someone.

For the one who has been
trying too hard for too long.

For the one who has been crying alone
without telling anyone.

For the one who feels like
nothing is going right.

For the one whose sensitivity
was never understood.

For the one who is still holding
a small and quiet flame inside.

And for everyone who thought
"I am not enough"
and yet
woke up again this morning.



A firefly can only glow
in the darkness.

Every night you cried.
Every road you lost your way on.
Every word that went unheard.

All of it
became the fuel
for the light inside you.

Just as fireflies are born
from withered grass
hope is always born
from the place
you thought was finished.
