Orphase is an album about the essence of a journey and the value found in the process of becoming along the way.

The title Orphase is a coined word combining Origin, Orbit, Organic, and Phase. Across 11 tracks, the album traces a journey from leaving Japan, through life in Canada and travels across the United States, and eventually back to Tokyo. It captures the landscapes encountered along the way, connections and farewells, loneliness and conflict, and an evolving relationship with music.

The feeling of being alive that comes from moving toward an unknown destination. What do we keep, and what do we let go of as our surroundings change?

Orphase is both a record of a journey and a document of the time spent along the way, capturing the process of change and the person gradually taking shape through it.
