#nomuraakihiro Born in Hiroshima. Travelled to England alone at 15. Returned to Japan in 2000 after being active in England for 10 years. In the following years, he worked on many films, stage performances, and fashion shows as a music director (2003 Tama Cinema Forum Grandprix work, etc). In 2006, he performed in the TSS (Terebi Shin Hiroshima) digital broadcast TV program "Oto wo kanaderu Miyajima," as well as playing the synthesizer at the "Takabutai" national treasure of Itsukushima Shrine. In 2007, he was musical director for the DVD "Hiroshima International Peace Conference 2006" which featured three Nobel Peace Prize winners: the 14th Dalai Lama, Bishop Desmond Tutu and Ms. Betty Williams. He had an audience with the Dalai Lama while working as music director for "Dalai Lama Teaching in 2010 Hiroshima" in 2010. Then in 2016, he performed at "Peace Arch Hiroshima," an event hosted by the Art and Culture Division of the Hiroshima Prefectural Government, and also worked as a musical dedication member in the "musical dedication memorial" at the Toro Nagashi (lantern floating) event on August 6. He is a keyboardist and sound creator working actively for peace at art museums, movie theatres, restaurants and many other venues.
