• Kanayo

  Born in Kagawa-prefecture, Japan. She became interested in singing and music in 2020, and studied singing voice independently influenced by Bjork, Thom Yorke, Billle Eilish, and others, and started writing songs and live performances mainly in Tokyo in 2023. Inspired by post-classical, Icelandic music, ambient, jazz, and film music, she expresses a one-of-a-kind world with a visual worldview that seems to tell a story, lyrics that mix English and Japanese, and a voice that is both transparent and ennui texture.
