New young cityに所属する東京出身のアーティストZeNが2024年5st singleとなる “Pipe down“をリリースする。
今作は彼が海外で受けた人種差別、派手な服装や自由な生き方に対する否定的な意見を相手にせず、彼なりの生き方やアティチュードをRAGE STYLEのハードなビートに乗せた楽曲になっている。
本楽曲プロデュースは、03-Performanceで話題となった炒炒 「Night Dream」やBADHOP「Life Style」などバイラルヒットを手掛けたHiphop collective 「NEW YOUNG CITY」主催GOLD DIGGAがProduce,Mix,を手掛けている。MasteringはHiroshi Shiota (SALT FIELD MASTERING)が担当した。

    Artist introduction ZeN A bilingual hip hop artist born in 2000. Immediately after graduating from high school, he went to study abroad in Sydney on his own, and was influenced by the friends he met there and the environment, and entered the world of HIPHOP. Since returning to Japan, he has been actively producing music. His songs, with lyrics and melodies that reflect a unique worldview that only he can see, captivate many people. His released song ``Goodbyes'' caught the attention of GOLD DIGGA, who has worked with many artists including Badhop's ``Life style'' and ``night dream,'' and is also the organizer of hiphop collective ``New young city.'' He started his activities in earnest as a member of New Young City.
