In Mushi no Iki,Blue Lotus explores the loneliness of sleepless nights and the slow erosion of self under the weight of everyday life. As the things once longed for slip further away, even the meaning of living becomes difficult to grasp. Yet something faint remains: a reluctance to disappear, a wish to leave even one trace of having been here.

The song offers no clear deliverance. Instead, it holds onto a fragile feeling that stirs within the exhaustion: I am not ready for this to be the end.
