Alive

This work, "Alive," is a heartfelt self-portrait that encapsulates my entire stage career and the emotions of living in the "now."

Accompanied by the delicate yet warm tones of classical guitar, it features a selection of exquisite songs chosen from diverse genres including opera, classical, musical theater, and Japanese popular songs.

What flows through each song is the "resonance of life" as a performer, singing with care and strength about the joys and sorrows of life.

The album title "Alive" embodies Shimazono's own strong resolve: to cherish the preciousness of living in the present moment and to carve her own "proof of life" into music.

Born from the wish to create an album that quietly accompanies the listener's heart, yet sometimes stirs it passionately-
this is Rie Shimazono's musical journey,
