In the hush of falling leaves
The wind tells stories no one sees
Under skies that turned to gold
I wandered through the fields of old
I passed the chestnut trees alone
Their shadows danced upon the stone
You left your name in footprints there
A faded trail of tender care
And though the days have slipped away
The fields remember what we’d say
Blue fields, where time stood still
Where quiet hearts could have their fill
Among the rows, I feel you near
In every breeze, in every tear
Blue fields, we said goodbye—
But left our dreams beneath the sky
I saw the orchard bathed in light
A silver mist at edge of night
The world has moved, the leaves have turned
But some soft truths remain unlearned
The scent of earth, the amber air
It brings me back to who we were there
Blue fields, your voice remains
Like morning fog on windowpanes
Though we grew up, and drifted wide
The soil still sings what we can’t hide
Blue fields, you’re still the start—
The map that lives inside my heart
Maybe we never truly left…
Maybe the field holds the rest…
Blue fields, where seasons sleep
Where buried roots still learn to keep
Even if we lose our way
These blue fields ask us still to stay
Blue fields, I’ll come again—
To find you in the autumn rain
Blue… fields…

Artist Profile
starclime
There are still landscapes in music that we have yet to see. starclime is a fourteen-member music project. Taking City Pop as one of its starting points, starclime moves freely through rock, jazz, soul, R&B,EDM, classical music, ambient, experimental music, hip-hop, and musical traditions from around the world. Rather than remaining within a single genre, the project absorbs the colour, rhythm, culture and atmosphere of different forms of music, reshaping them into something new. The changing seasons. Journeys towards unfamiliar places. Memories of somewhere to return to. The distance between people. Feelings that lie beyond words. These landscapes and emotions flow throughout the music of starclime. Some things can only be expressed through song. Others only begin to reveal themselves when words disappear. For starclime, vocal works and instrumentals therefore belong equally to the same musical world. Each member brings a different musical background and a different perspective to every work, while some continue to discover and develop their own musical identity. Rather than preserving a single finished form, starclime allows the music itself to grow through change. starclime does not seek simply to add more genres. Its aim is to renew the way music itself can be perceived through the meeting of different musical worlds. Towards music that has yet to be named. Towards landscapes we have yet to discover. starclime will continue to present new ways of seeing and hearing music.
