Tokyo-based hybrid metalcore band PROMPTS release their new EP "Parasite Dream".
Built on the band's continued evolution through tours and releases both in Japan and overseas, the EP fuses aggressive heaviness, emotive melodies, and industrial textures, pushing PROMPTS' dark and emotional world into an even more intense and immersive form.
The release features tracks that have already made a powerful impact in their live set, including "Stranger" featuring Landon Tewers of The Plot In You and "Weirdo" featuring AG of NOISEMAKER.
Mixing and mastering were handled by Lance Prenc, known for his work with artists such as Polaris and Alpha Wolf.
Parasite Dream will be co-released via Australia's Greyscale Records and US-based PAPERCUT RECORDINGS.

PROMPTS is a hybrid metalcore band based in Tokyo, consisting of Japanese and Korean members. Drawing from the diverse roots of its multinational lineup, the band has established a distinctive style that blends chaotic, heavy, and emotionally charged sound with an intense live performance. They have shared the stage with numerous domestic and international acts including Crossfaith, coldrain, SiM, Crystal Lake, Shadows, KNOSIS, The Plot In You, Alpha Wolf, We Came As Romans, and Counterparts. In 2024, the band signed with Australia's Greyscale Records. Following the deal, PROMPTS successfully completed Australian tours and expanded their international presence through live performances in countries such as South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines. They later released the single "Stranger," featuring The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers as a guest vocalist and co-producer, which received significant attention. In 2026, PROMPTS signed with PAPERCUT Recordings, a new label founded by Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary of Fit For A King and Leo Valeri of Brand of Sacrifice, and released their new single "Death Of Me".
