A decade ago in 2011.
The album "Yikes!" was released by London Electricity, a veteran artist at the top of the drum 'n' bass scene. One of the songs on the album, "METEORITES" was given a new life by being sung in Japanese. The songs called "[LON 8PM - TYO 4AM] feat. AMWE".
As soon as the song was released on YouTube, positive comments started pouring in worldwide, and word-of-mouth support spread via Twitter. The song was also played heavily on m-flo Taku Takahashi's first internet radio show dedicated to dance music in Japan, TCY RADIO / block.fm, by DJs, and also received support from the club floor.
The song was remixed by various artists who gathered at the warm-up bar "SHIBUYA OIRAN", produced by Yuki Kawamura, who wrote the Japanese lyrics. This unique work was born in London, evolved in Tokyo, and spread across the country by naturally resonating in the ears of fans.
In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of "[LON 8PM - TYO 4AM] feat. AMWE" a 10th-anniversary edition album has been released, compiling the original recordings and remixes made by various artists at the time into one disc!
