Se-Rah drops new single "CURVY BABY" on October 28.A new anthem for the self-made rule: "I decide my own standards."
Artwork by her sister, HannaH.
Tokyo-based melodic rapper Se-Rah, known for redefining modern femininity through her unique artistic lens, is set to release her latest single "CURVY BABY" on October 28.
Following the nocturnal liberation of her previous track "B/tch Take a Shower," this new release turns inward-toward self-acceptance.
With the mantra "staying happy and cute for myself," Se-Rah presents a new, liberated vision of feminine style that embraces individuality.
Rejecting external standards, she declares that being "in love with yourself" is the truest form of justice.
Her playful yet powerful lyric-
"Even with an unstandard body, my face is cute.
This overflowing love can't be contained."
-becomes a gentle counterattack against the era of constant comparison on social media.
Instead of anger or defiance, Se-Rah's response is humor, grace, and groove.
Amid a culture obsessed with effort and endurance, she proudly proclaims:
"I decide my own rules."
The result is a radiant pop anthem-a celebration of imperfection and self-love,
a modern mass for those learning to love themselves again.
Artwork by her real-life sister, HannaH.
The single's artwork is hand-drawn by Se-Rah's sister, DJ HannaH, whose collage-style visuals depict a woman floating freely between self-acceptance and sensuality.
Together, the sisters craft an art dialogue that reframes the question:
"How do women love their own bodies and hearts?"
-through a streetwise, contemporary Tokyo perspective.

With a bouncy bassline and Se-Rah's smooth, velvety vocal rhythm, "CURVY BABY" is a track meant to soundtrack those fleeting, empowering moments-whether in a late-night club or a quiet morning mirror reflection.
Bright in tone yet deep in meaning, Se-Rah's music doesn't just heal-it restores the listener's confidence to rise again.
Se-Rah is a melodic rapper with a smoky and gentle voice and deep lyrics that fuse elements of various genres to create music that touches the heart. From an early age, he was exposed to music across genres, such as The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Kiyoshiro Imawano, influenced by his American father. He was also influenced by classical music, influenced by his mother, a violinist, and was particularly drawn to Koji Tamaki's performances and his worldview, which combines sensitivity and passion, and has saved him many times. When it comes to music, I've always chosen what I think is "cool" based on my own sense, regardless of genre. While working as a hairdresser and hair and makeup artist in Harajuku, I gave birth and had many other experiences, and although it may be a little late to start at the age of 27, I decided to enter the world of music, believing that there are things that I can sing because I am now. I want to convey the various forms of "love" that I have found in life through music.
