Deep Fall is a piece that paints a sonic story beginning with a feeling many of us have experienced at least once in life-the sensation of falling. It's that inner landscape we find ourselves in when we've lost something precious, when love ends, or when we feel close to breaking.
There are times when the weight of reality pushes us down, and it feels as though we're sinking to the bottom of a deep ocean. It's quiet there, dark, and endlessly vast. And yet, in that stillness, a faint light sometimes flickers in the heart-a quiet longing to rise again. Perhaps it's the awakening of a spirit that whispers, "I want to find myself once more."
The first half of the track gently follows the weight and quiet of that emotional descent. Then, in the second half, the violin begins to shine through-delicate at first, then more resolute-as if reaching upward, searching for hope, and trying to surface toward the light once more. It is the sound of a will that refuses to give in.
Deep Fall is a song that quietly reminds us: sometimes, it's only when we've sunk deep that we begin to see the light. And if this piece happens to spark something small and warm in someone's heart, at just the right time, then that means everything.
