Atsushi Ikeda
1963年横浜生まれ。国立音楽大学器楽科サクソフォーン専攻にて石渡悠史氏に師事。在学中より同窓の椎名豊（p）、五十嵐一生（tp）と活動を始め、山下洋輔（p）のグループなどに参加した。85年、学内のNew Tide Jazz Orchestra で出場した山野ビッグバンド・コンテストにて優秀ソリスト賞受賞。86年卒業後、池田芳夫（b）、大口純一郎（p）、黒田京子（p）、佐山雅弘（p）、本田竹広（p）、福村博（tb）らの数多くのグループを経験した後、90年に渡米し、Marcus Belgrave（tp）との共演を通じて多大な影響を受けた。91,92年、スイング・ジャーナル誌批評家投票で注目のアルト・サックス部門で連続第一位。95年帰国後、初リーダー・アルバム『Everybody's Music』(King Records)を発表。03年より辛島文雄（p）のグループに参加。04年、ソロ・サックスのライブ・アルバム『かはたれとき』（Objet Cafe）、05年、細川正彦（p）とのデュオ・アルバム『Interlude』（CMS）を発表。06年、ニューヨークで開催された IAJE （国際ジャズ教育協会）に小曽根真（p）＆ No Name Horsesの一員として参加。同年、Jay Thomas（tp）、小濱安浩（ts）と共に日米混合のメンバーによる The East West Alliance を結成し、シアトルで開催された Earshot Jazz Festival に出演、レコーディングし、07年『The East West Alliance』（CUG Records）を発表。同バンドではその後も定期的にアメリカ西海岸ツアーを行い好評を博している。10年、辛島文雄(p)を擁した自己のグループによる、新宿 PIT INN でのライブ・アルバム『Here We Are』（Pit Inn Music）、そしてThe East West Alliance の第二作目『Band Of Brothers』（CUG Records）を発表。

Masahiko Hosokawa
Born in Tokyo. He started playing the piano by himself during his college days. He started performing at almost the same time, appeared in Jazz live houses such as Shinjuku Pit Inn, and started production, composition and arrangement of studio music, and studio work. Moved from Tokyo to Kyushu and Fukuoka when he was 30 years old, and worked mainly on sound source production such as video works such as commercials. He then lived in the mountainous area of 400m above sea level for nine years in Kumamoto Prefecture, where he moved to Okinawa in 2016, including his work. We perform performance activity in the prefecture and the whole country. While releasing nine albums on his own label (CMS records), he is also involved in the production of various albums and sound sources as a free paid producer. Major co-stars: Atsushi Ikeda, Yoshiaki Okayasu, Koichi Nobo, Yasuhiro Komine, Hideto Kanai, Takanosuke Saijo, etc.
