    Selling Conversation 2

    RENZAN

"What makes a song a hit?"
This album doesn't answer that question, but rather explores the question itself.

On the lead track, "Sellable Songs 11," Renzan, Poney, and microM each deconstruct the term "sellable" from their own perspectives, set to a jazz beat by Yusuke Nakamura. Is it about creating for others, or honing oneself? If the accumulation of these experiences ultimately reaches someone's heart, can that really be called "selling"?

The core question of this work is encapsulated here.

The album portrays neither a formula for success nor a success story. It depicts the attitude of continuing to make music while facing the realities of numbers, reviews, controversy, and tie-ups without being consumed by them.

Through the chemistry of jazz, conversation, experimental compositions, and multiple guest appearances, the "Sellable Songs" series evolves into a more three-dimensional story.

This is not an album "made to sell."
But still, the reasons why it might sell are clearly evident.
