Artist Profile

  • Azumi Takahashi

    Azumi Takahashi Born in Norikura highland(Matsumoto), Nagano, Japan. She moved to Tokyo to study at a music school. Pops, Soul, R&B, Gospel and Jazz became the roots of her style and she started to write songs.Right after she graduated from the music school, she got selected as one of the backing vocalists of Japanese Major band, "Dreams Come True". Because of that, Saitama super Arena where has capacity of 37000 became her first stage as a professional musician. She continue to be part of tours, live concerts and recordings of many major artists in Japan. Once she started her carrier as an artist, she started to involve with live shows, festivals and compilation albums by her outstanding singing skill and performance. In 2013, she published her first album "25 to 26" where one of her original song, "believe" ranked in as top 6 in R&B/Soul category. In 2017, her second album "Hitori goto" got published nationwide. On that album, there're songs which very well known producer, Masanori Shimada arranged as well as the songs which got featured on several Japanese television advertisements. She also plays an active role as a touring ambassador of her hometown, Norikura highland.
