This piece features the taiko drums often heard at Japanese festivals. It expresses a wide dynamic range, from the full power and excitement of the sound to the quiet sounds reminiscent of a beating heart. We attempted to overlap the stalling of Japan's economy and its future in this context. It also features a wonderful fusion of primitive Japanese drums and Western orchestration. And with the addition of VOCALOID, the complex mix of static and dynamic Tokyo becomes even more chaotic!
