Singer-songwriter ere, who uses the rhythm machine/sampler "MPC," will release her new song "Groove Up" on June 5th.

Ere, who is mainly active in Tokyo and delivers songs while making full use of MPC performance that she learned from MPC GIRL USAGI, who is also known for her collaborations with iri and non, will begin to move in earnest as a singer + MPC player = "singer beat player" in 2024, with RUNG HYANG as the total producer.

RUNG HYANG, who is also a singer-songwriter and a special professor at Osaka College of Music and Osaka College of Music Junior College, has produced many talented people such as Eito, eill, YAMORI, and Matsumoto Chinatsu through his private school, and ere is one of his students. With the backing of his "master" RUNG HYANG, he has completed his new song "Groove Up."
"Groove Up," with its memorable onomatopoeia refrain, is a danceable song influenced by the globally popular "amapiano" dance music from South Africa, with Tyra's "Water" becoming a top 10 hit in the US in 2023. The arrangement was done by Shingo.S, who has worked with many artists including RUNG HYANG, Shota Shimizu, Miliyah Kato, and SIRUP. The song has a comfortable floating feeling, like swimming in the sea at night in the city, as if guided by the husky and coquettish singing voice whispering, "Forget about the bad things and dance."
