Run through the noise.
"DISTORTION YOUTH" is a rock album built around impulse, distortion, instability, and youth-
ten tracks racing through a fractured urban world.
Explosive guitars,
shifting odd time signatures,
distorted low-end bass,
and piercing high vocals collide throughout the album.
Each song takes on a different form,
yet all are connected by the same sensation:
running through a broken reality.
The rebellion of "FAKE BREAKER,"
the chaos of "Polyrhythm Riot,"
the fragmented language of "ERROR POETRY,"
and the collapsing world inside "FALSE REALITY."
After passing through all of it,
the final track "Kimi no Sokudo" brings a rush of wind,
pushing the album forward into the future.
Distortion is not a flaw.
It is the shape required to survive this era.
"DISTORTION YOUTH" captures the exact moment
when noise and youth collide-
a record of chaos, speed, and forward motion.
Hai no Kyori is a Japanese three-piece rock band formed by Rei Sato (Vo/Gt), Ren Morikawa (Ba), and Misaki (Dr). Their music captures the tension between the cold air of the city and the faint heat that lingers within. With dry guitars and tight rhythms, they weave a sound of desperation and silence a blend of raw energy reminiscent of Number Girl and Fuzzy Control, fused with a modern, minimal aesthetic. Their songs live at the edge measuring the temperature of ashes, glowing faintly before they fade.
