  • SAKURAI YUKI

    SAKURAI Yuki was born in 1985, in Japan. His Zodiac sign is Libra. Influenced by his mother and older brother who both were drum players, he grew up with Japanese drums. He started playing Japanese drums at the age of 7, and performing at local festivals. After graduating from high school, he became a trainee at a Japanese drum group Kodo, and experienced domestic and international tours. After leaving the group, SAKURAI Yuki belonged to an entertainment agency Amuse, and became a founding member of the Showa Kayo Revue Theater Company Torahime Ichiza. The company performed every day at a dedicated theater in Asakusa, Japan and he have appeared in over 3,000 performances in total. His role was not limited to play Japanese drums, but also included a wide variety of activities of singing, dancing, and acting. SAKURAI Yuki became an independent entertainer in 2019. In July 2024, his official web site was launched, marking the 20th anniversary of his career.
