  Zumi is an artist based in Nagoya, Japan, who launched his musical career in late 2022. Rooted in hip-hop but influenced by everything from funk and soul to rock and Showa-era Japanese pop, he has crafted a distinctly genre-blending sound. In recent years, he has been expanding his presence through dynamic live performances, appearing with both full-band and acoustic lineups. Released in April 2025, his single Flower quickly gained momentum reaching No. 5 on Spotify's Japan Viral Chart and No. 1 on Shazam's Discovery and drew widespread attention, especially among younger audiences across Japan.
