Anata no Portrait - Your Photo- (feat. Queming Queming) [Cover]

This month's song is "Anata no Portrait - Your Photo-" by Akina Nakamori, a representative idol of the 1980s. The lyrics were written by Etsuko Kisugi and the music was composed by Takao Kisugi. The unique melancholic sound they created became a standard for Showa-era pop music and continues to be loved by generations.

The Kisugi duo listened to the demo tape that Akina Nakamori sent for her pre-debut audition and created "Slow Motion" and " Anata no Portrait - Your Photo-" to match her image. Akina Nakamori, who was 16 years old at the time, debuted with "Slow Motion" on May 1, 1982, and " Anata no Portrait - Your Photo-" was included on her first album, "Prologue," released on July 1 of the same year.

With the success of her second single "Shojo A," Akina Nakamori became a representative idol of the 80s, alongside Seiko Matsuda and Momoe Yamaguchi, and a singer who symbolized the era. Do you like the Showa era diva, Akina Nakamori?
