"What will my world look like when I wake up from this dream?" This is the core thought behind the lyrics of this new track.
It is a song sung with a cheerful vibe, mixing the positive aspects of "dreams you want to achieve" and "dream-like reality" with the negative emotions of guilt and emptiness, wishing that the current situation was just a dream.
With synth riffs appearing in the intro and chorus, and a four-on-the-floor drum sound that evokes different eras, the track is finished with a familiar sound that will appeal to listeners of a wide range of generations. I sometimes think that both dreams and reality are indiscriminately and undoubtedly my own life.

Artist Profile

  • Naoto Koto

"Nostalgic, yet modern." Naoto Koto weaves a sonic world that elevates the nostalgic atmosphere of the 1980s through a contemporary lens. With a refined pop sensibility, he quietly awakens memories that everyone shares but no one could put into words. His music makes no flamboyant demands; instead, the underlying emotions of guilt and emptiness hidden beneath playful melodies deeply resonate within the listener's heart. Here lies music that transcends eras, gently accompanying the solitude of every generation. Immersed in the essence of music from an early age, Koto sang in a choir, exploring everything from classical works to sacred repertoire. Starting in high school, he began writing his own songs and performing live, releasing his first album, wonderful world, in October 2022. Later that year, he moved to Canada, where he majored in and completed the Music and Digital Media course at St. Lawrence College. After returning to Japan, he fully committed himself to composition. In January 2025, he wrote the lyrics and performed "Monochrome," the ending theme for the international broadcast version of the NHK Premium drama TRUE COLORS. Soon after, in May 2025, he released his second full-length album, mirror. In March 2026, Koto released "Yuuin," his first single since joining BOLERO, accompanied by a music video filmed in Hakodate.
