With her new single "Vital," Maika Loubté dives into the essence of future garage, stripping away the bass to reveal something strikingly pure and atmospheric.
Her cool, futuristic Japanese vocals float through a wide, vivid soundscape-an intricate mix of rhythm and emotion that captures a sense of beautiful tension and quiet urgency.

"Sometimes, when you truly look at the world you take for granted, you might be blinded by how breathtakingly beautiful it actually is," Maika reflects.

Co-created with sound designer and long-time collaborator Sountrive, "Vital" is a sonic exploration of the delicate balance between artificial light and human warmth.
The cover art, shot by Yosuke Ohno-who also directed the music video-shows Maika embracing a single fluorescent light: a symbol of the fragile yet undeniable spark of life glowing within the modern cityscape.

"Vital" captures that fleeting feeling of being alive in a world that often feels cold-and transforms it into something achingly beautiful.
