this solo piano work traces unseen layers beneath the surface.
Recorded during a journey across Nagano, Kanagawa, and Hirosaki in late 2024,
these six pieces capture moments where land and body quietly dissolve into one.
No visuals. No narration.
Only depth, space, and a hidden shade of blue.

Tomo the Pianist
Tomo the Pianist A solo pianist and improviser weaving the sounds of life, nature, and spirit. After debuting in 2003 with her band SOL, she later journeyed through Japan and India, exploring sound and soul. Now based in a 100-year-old house in the mountains of Nagano, she integrates motherhood and music. Her performances and recordings such as DreamTime, KI RA ME KI, and DreamingEgg are born from deep resonance with place and presence. In 2025, she begins anew under the name Tomo the Pianist,with nine works to be released digitally.
