The emotions, struggles, and love I felt in everyday life when my children were still little. There were times of frustration and moments of feeling down-but even those days, I now realize, were deeply precious.
That realization comes sooner than you expect.
These are songs of love for my children, created during the intense years of parenting between 2015 and 2022.
Artist Profile
Haruna Yamaguchi
1985, born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. During high school, she studied abroad at an international school in Canada, where she formed the piano and vocal unit Dew with a classmate. From 2008 to 2011, Dew was signed to Victor Entertainment, and she continued performing as the group's pianist and backing vocalist until 2023. She began her solo career in 2012 and released her first solo album, Joy, in 2017. In addition to her creative work, she is currently active in hospitals and care facilities, providing musical support for patients and their families. Her work accompanies them through changes in both mind and body, from end-of-life care and bedside vigils to bereavement and grief care for families, offering comfort and presence through music.
