Space swells as if there is too much yeast in the dough

Everything moves away from everything, but no one knows

What all this is really for

A person sits at the table and looks into a pint:

It too has its own universe

Mountains of foam and cloudy nebulae

A cosmic beer day - infinity is near

When the thought escapes to the sky and returns back to the glass

The universe is a big question

But thirst is a sure answer

The light of the stars is millions of years old

And yet it reaches the eye right now

What is real for a person - this moment

Or the light that tells of the past?

If time only flows in one direction

Why does the conversation at the table always circle back to the beginning?

But that doesn't stop him from raising a pint
