Centered on Cocomi's vocals with increased expressiveness, Kato Taro's illusionary guitar, the thickest bass of Izumi Okano, and the drum of Kensuke Nishiura with a habit, are further evolved and deepened from the previous work The "mixed" band sound is built.
"Fuyuiro" is a winter song that sings a light relationship between men and women to a magnificent sound tribute to a thick chorus, Phil Specter and Otaki Eiichi.
mezcolanza was formed in April 2014 by Cocomi (Vo./also known as Kokomi Naruse), Taro Kato (Gt./ex-BEAT CRUSADERS), and Hajimetal (Key./ex-Midori). The band is known for its cross-genre, eclectic musical style that freely blends different sounds and expressions. Their latest release, LIVE AT GrapeFruitMoon, captures the acoustic one-man live held on July 17, 2025, at Sangenjaya GrapeFruitMoon in Tokyo. With this performance, bassist Izumi Okano and drummer Kensuke Nishiura graduated from the band, marking the end of its original five-member era. Moving forward, mezcolanza enters Phase 2 with Cocomi, Kato, and Hajimetal at its core. The band will continue to evolve with flexible formations, from acoustic sets to full-band performances, joined by support musicians.
