Based in Odawara, Kanagawa, MIU began her career as a member of the hip-hop crew SWAGPARK. When asked about her genre, she answers without hesitation: "I am the genre." Rooted in hip-hop's origins - liberation from oppression and the proof of the soul - she delves deeply into this spirit and discovers something uniquely Japanese: a tradition of ancient spirituality and wisdom that can only be expressed from Japan.
