Born in 1999, Hiroshima. Artist, audio engineer, and producer working as the solo project SOZEN OTSUBO. With a deep fascination for sound from an early age, he produced around 100 tracks during high school while also editing video. He honed his skills in analog console engineering and film scoring at a music vocational school, and after graduating, began working across artist activities, songwriting, and sound production. Since then, he has expanded into a wide range of endeavors-artist activities, song production, and sound production-driven by a distinctive sensibility and solid technical expertise. As a solo artist, he produced "Yamabico" in collaboration with a nursery school. With singer Vela in the unit BL4CK PEARL, he created "Dawn" the theme song for sculptor Kenji Yanobe's "SHIP'S CAT" permanently installed at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, and "ANTINOMY," the theme song for artist-illustrator Baron Ueda's project "SPINYZ." He also provides tracks for visual works and other artists, as well as remixes. Although his primary role is as a creator, he also handles mixing and mastering with his own distinctive techniques, working on over 100 tracks per year across both major and independent releases. He also mixes his own music in Dolby Atmos.
