The title "Tomorrow, Beyond the Flower Storm" depicts a story of the beautiful and sorrowful arrival of spring, farewells, and new beginnings. The four songs, all based on the same chorus as a motif but arranged in different ways to create their own unique atmosphere, carefully weave universal themes such as sometimes graduation and a new departure, sometimes eternal separation from a loved one, and sometimes love together with the beautifully dyed colors of spring.
The first track on the EP, "Haru No Ato," refreshingly expresses the frustrations and struggles of youth, goodbyes, and new beginnings by combining a light pop tune that feels like a pleasant spring breeze blowing through the air with contrasting sad lyrics, delivered with juliet's unique vocals.
The second track, "Petal Rain," was originally derived from a piano phrase in Chouchou's song "in a field of snowdrops," which led to the making of this EP. With its touching, sad, and beautiful melody, it is a Chouchou-like ballad that embraces the farewell and love to a loved one that comes with the arrival of spring.
The third song, "Yume No Ato," consists only of a chorus, and its gentle, enveloping ambient sound and juliet's sentimental vocals tighten the heart and depict hope for the future.
The fourth track, "Petal Rain (Piano)," is a solo piano version of the second track, "Petal Rain," and evokes the fragility of cherry petals falling quietly like spring rain after their beautiful blooming.
These four songs, plus two instrumental versions, make a total of six songs on the EP.
As the title of the EP, "Tomorrow, Beyond the Flower Storm," suggests, the petals of cherry blossoms, which symbolize this EP, beautifully and fleetingly dance and scatter with the radiance of lives, just like a flower storm, showing various forms of endings throughout the entire work. And Chouchou sings about the existence of the days gone by and the people who will never be forgotten beyond the flower storm.
