Yáo is releasing her first solo album "Current" on July 10th.
Her last mini-album, "YK2H" featured with Yusuke Komura, a classical pianist, was released in 2022. In this album, she expressed the fusion of classical and club music.
In new album "Current", Yáo collects the sounds she has created since last year. Her music covers a broad range of genres and evokes feelings with philosophical elements.

    Music producer/ Educator based in Fukuoka, JP yáo released her first single in 2022 Her music covers a broad range of genres and evokes feelings with philosophical elements. In the process of music making, she cherishes taking a sense of groove, ideas, ambient and images into consideration. The next coming up mini-album is, the fusion of classical and club music. yáo is collaborating with a classical pianist, Yusuke Komura, a long-time friend from college, and they are creating music inspired by J.S Bach Toccata in E minor, BWV 914. yáo is also active as a music educator for young children using her knowledge and experiences from classically trained backgrounds.
