I'm a singer-songwriter "NORIKO" from Sapporo Japan. I've released my first leader album "Air Era" in August 2021 which features James Genus (bass) from Herbie Hancock band, Takanori Niida (drums) from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Takashi Yofu (guitar) from Sadao Watanabe Group, Koki Ito (bass) from Tatsuro Yamashita band, and others. I made this album with all my heart with best musicians in U.S. and Japan.

The album title "Air Era" means the era of the wind. In astrology, it is said that the era up to now is the "age of the earth", and from now on it will enter the "age of the wind". In the age of the wind, it seems that invisible richness and connection with people become important. In this album, "important things that are invisible" is the key.

    札幌を拠点に活動するシンガー/ソングライター。 独自メソッドによるアロマセラピストの一面を持つ。 大学院では臨床心理士を目指し学んだ。しかし修士号を目前に、恩師、家族との度重なる別れに遭遇し、心の専門家になるはずの自身が重度の精神病を患う。 克服できない日々の中、ゴルペルクワイアへの参加を機に歌と出会い、音楽の素晴らしさに開眼。導かれるように様々なベニューで歌い続け、共演者、オーディエンスとの音楽を通したコミュニケーションを繰り返すうちに病を完治させた。 音楽の力を確信した2013年、シンガーとしての本格的な活動を開始。困難を乗り越え、より自然に心と向き合うように表現する歌が、NY在住のドラマー新井田孝則の目にとまり、2015年、初の共演ソロライブが実現。その後も精力的にライブ活動を続け、2021年、遂にオリジナル楽曲を収録したアルバム「Air Era〜風の時代」をリリースする。 また、同アルバムのアートワークには自身が描いた絵画が採用された。瑠璃色の深い安らぎを感じさせる色調の中に、書き下ろしの歌詞や自然との繋がりを彷彿とさせる描写がなされており、歌にとどまらない多彩なアプローチが各方面からの注目を集めている。
