November 2019: Ne-Ra began performing cover songs on YouTube. February 2020: Ne-Ra began taking DTM lessons from a composer, learning how to record at home, mix, and create sound sources. On July 13, 2021, Ne-Ra released her first song of which she wrote and composed herself. In December 2022, Ne-Ra released a self-produced 5-track EP on her own online shop. In July 2023, Ne-Ra was interviewed and featured in the American indie magazine "indiefferential." After performing at local live events, Ne-Ra is currently active mainly on YouTube, live streaming, and releasing music. Ne-Ra's vocals are characterized by a wide range and tone, from low to high notes and soft to powerful, and she creates music based on R&B and soul. Ne-Ra likes things that combine Japanese and Western styles, and says, "I want people to feel the beat with their bodies and the emotion with their hearts."
