I was almost asleep when the bass and melody came to me. Wow, I sound like Paul McCartney! I wondered if I should get up while thinking about it. In the end, I got up, recorded a simple demo, and went to bed. Now that I think about it, it was a close call! Just barely Paul McCartney! I feel that the rugged drums are my own style. I wonder if this kind of slogan-like melody will be around much longer. I'm sure there won't be many.

    Shu Miura makes POP music with an experimental side in Tokyo. His first exposure to music came when he saw Ken Ishii's "extra" music video in junior high. Since then, he's been making alternative rock and techno-influenced songs on acoustic guitar. He's into bands like Pulp Fiction, Aphex Twin, Beck, and Meritorious Service (Jackie Chan). Sonic Youth might be at the core. I'm into making catchy melodies with experimental sounds.
