The second installment in this unearthed series. It has been a year since the release of the debut album *Medical Stuff* via Hermit City Recordings. Once again, a new beat tape has arrived from the Doctor's secret laboratory. Like its predecessor, this collection was reportedly crafted using the MPC3000. Recorded around 2017-2018, the sound reflects the artist's return to their hometown; compared to the "city vibe" of the previous album, this one evokes a rural atmosphere-a touch of the countryside or the quiet serenity of a village nestled in the hills. The tracks exude an even deeper sense of mellowness and an intriguing, mysterious quality. It captures the comfort of spending time in nature alongside the darkness that lurks beneath the surface, occasionally revealing itself. You, too, can experience this unique sensation.
The project features guest appearances by some of Japan's finest beatmakers: tajima hal, AKTR, and $enpai. Mastering duties were handled by tajima hal, ensuring a rock-solid sound. The album art, designed by SS (of GITANS), also exudes a distinctively dark vibe. The release came about when the incredibly busy "Doctor"-while on vacation-was inspired during a haircut at his regular salon after a trip to the mountains. It looks like we're in for another dose of the Doctor's prescription.
