The debut single of singer-songwriter Tomio Horiuchi, who is working to protect the endangered species of Higotai(Echinops setifer) that grows wild in Hiwa-cho, Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. This song was created to protect the original scenery of the former farming village and to pass on that feeling to the next generation.
I am a singer-songwriter based in Shobara City, Hiroshima. In my hometown of Mitugaichi, Hiwa, I am deeply involved in efforts to protect the endangered Higotai thistle. With a deep love for the nature and people of Shobara, my music and community activities are dedicated to preserving local traditions and fostering a sustainable future for the next generation. Additionally, I perform weekly street concerts at Shobara Station, a key station on the Geibi Line, which is at risk of closure, focusing mainly on covers of Ed Sheeran's songs. I believe in helping the younger generation discover joy, take on challenges, and find ways to express themselves in rural areas.
