This piece is inspired by the classic poetry of the Hyakunin Isshu, with the aim of reevaluating the beauty of these ancient words.
The piano melody captures the feelings of an emperor who, while reflecting on the noble struggles of farmers protecting their crops in a dilapidated hut against the chill of the autumn wind, expresses a profound respect for their resilience and dignity.

We hope listeners will feel the timeless beauty of Japan through this composition.
