The song "Miracle of Love" went through twists and turns. A song that I had included in a demo caught the eye of a producer, several singers sang it, and the version sung by a male singer with a voice similar to that of Fumiya Fujii was adopted as the theme song for the Japanese version of the Korean drama "Truth" broadcast on CS. At that time, the copyright company offered to manage the song for ten years. In the past, the only work of mine that has been registered with JASRAC is "Miracle of Love." Now that the contract term has expired, I am free to do whatever I want with the song. However, I did not think of distributing it again. I was aware that I had given the song to someone else and that it had left my hands. However, I am attached to this first demo, even though the lyrics are very different from the version I later released to the world. That is why I decided to release this version, because I felt that the "truth" was here.

Artist Profile

  • Iwashita Keisuke Sardine

My name is Iwashita Keisuke, also known as Sardine. Over the 18 years from 1985 to 2002, I recorded about 150 songs that I recorded over multiple tracks by myself. I compiled these into eight albums and released them one after another in 2024. In 2025, instead of the anthology released the previous year, I will release an album that has been re-edited in chronological order. The first of these will be released on January 25th, titled "Windsor knot," which is a compilation of songs I created between 1989 and 1995, when I worked for a musical instrument manufacturer. It's an oldie but evergreen song that depicts a mixture of romanticism, cold-heartedness, and passion, as well as incoherent anxiety and longing for something that cannot be reached. Please listen to the variety of Sardine's songs.
