Artist Profile

  • Yudai Suzuki

After graduating from Keio University in 1982, he officially debuted under the production of Shunichi Tokura with Toshiba EMI, releasing the single '19,600,000 Sad Nights and Dazzling Dreams' and the album 'FRIDAY NIGHT' (his agency at the time was 'S-One Company,' run by Tokura). He broke through the following year with the 1983 single 'Rainy Summer.' Around the same time, he gained popularity as part of the 'New Wave Quartet' along with city pop artists belonging to Toshiba EMI (Junichi Inagaki, Yasuhiro Abe, Akira Inoue). In November 1984, he moved to Fan House. Between 1982 and 1990, he released 17 singles and 8 albums.
