  Born in Niigata and now based in Tokyo DAD TRIM takes his name from Trim no Mori a park in his hometown where his father died by suicide. Rather than hiding the darkness behind his story he chose to write it into his artist name and turn that pain into fuel for success. His powerful vocals and raw shouted delivery bring the spirit of Japans snowy north to life with phrases like FROM SNOWY TOWN and BLIZZARD HOOD woven into his music. After deleting his entire back catalog to pursue this sound to its fullest DAD TRIMs current style stands as a direct expression of his determination resolve and willingness to transform negativity into something powerful.
