  • MURAKAMI

    A rapper representing Kawanishi, Hyogo. Raised in a suburban new town with little material hardship, yet always carrying an unexplainable sense of confinement. Deeply influenced by the atmosphere of the 1990s and 2000s, he grew up with a style that is both ill and pop. He began rapping in 2003 under the influence of local friends and later formed a unit called FunkyLunchBox, where he expressed his own unique vision of hip-hop. Due to the pressures of everyday life, the group eventually went on hiatus. After many twists and turns, he resumed his career as a solo artist in 2025, rapping under his real name, Murakami. He posts freestyle rap videos in his spare time and during commutes, living by the motto: Everything in this world is hip-hop. Through this belief, he continues to express himself every day.
