彼女の音楽ルーツであるラップ／ヒップホップ／R&Bをベースに、さらに音楽の深みを追求して産み出した半年ぶりの待望の新作「FUZEI」。
アルバムタイトルは、日本特有の美意識のひとつである「風情」を感じさせる仕上がりとなったこととに由来している。
コロナ禍で混沌とした状況を打破するかのような持ち前のポジティブなリリックと、自ら「Neo Classic」と呼ぶ古き良き風情を感じさせるビート、さらに玄人をニヤリとさせる言葉選びやサウンドメイクが隅々まで詰め込まれている。
客演に、Black と Japaneseの血を持つ東京生まれ東京育ちのマルチタレントアーティスト 、Tokyo Galが参加。
自身のトラックメイカー名義であるSmooth-N-tha Bangzとして、全曲のトラックメイクに挑戦した初のフルセルフプロデュース作品でもあり、ミュージシャンとしての進化も今作の聴きどころとなっている。

Lipstorm, rapper plans to release for July 30, a new project called FUZEI.Since 2018 and after the dissolution of the group S7ICKCHICKs, Lipstorm has launched herself as a solo artist. With three studio albums under her belt, including IN THE CUT which she released in 2020, a bomb that will have allowed her to become one of the biggest female rappers in the Japanese music industry. In addition, she has enjoyed several collaborations with other artists, as well as invitations to freestyle sessions for Reb Bull Music Japan (64Bars) and on SAVANA CITY (YouTube channel directed by OJ BEERT). FUZEI will feature 5 tracks based on the musical roots of Lipstorm, Rap, R&B and will go further into the depth of the music. Packed with positive lyrics, this ep will also revisit the chaos and disaster caused by the coronavirus, beats that give a feel of old school rap and word choices with sounds that will make the experts smile. It's also the first fully self-produced project where she challenged herself to produce all the tracks under her own trackmaker name, Smooth-N-Tha Bangz. Another milestone in the evolution of her career.
