    PDLS

A synthesizer modulated by CV signals from an analog sequencer, paired with custom-built drums sculpted from raw waveforms-these form the foundation of the track. Delay and pitch shifting expand the contours of sound in three dimensions, lending a sense of both weightlessness and tension. The interplay between coldness and warmth, structural unease and sonic pleasure, creates a distinctive sense of spatial depth.

PDLS's 2nd track expresses ambivalent emotional states-lingering hope within resignation, or the will to move forward while holding contradictions. With a memorable melodic line and sound design that conjures striking imagery, the piece blurs the lines between listening, seeing, and feeling-a sonic-visual piece that's as memorable in tune as it is in image.

Artist Profile

  • PDLS

An audiovisual collective composed of three artists who independently handle all aspects of their creative work, including music, visuals, and design. Formed in 2025 by KanaiGo, a drummer, composer, and sound engineer; euh, a photographer and guitarist engaged in solo artistic work; and Romo, a visual artist, programmer, and vocalist who also develops their own art practice. Named after "puddle," PDLS explores ever-shifting expressions that defy fixed forms. By combining the pure tones of analog synthesizers with generatively produced visuals, they create immersive experiences through the fusion of sound and imagery. Breaking free from conventional venues like clubs and live houses, they actively present their work in diverse settings such as galleries and alternative spaces.
